Data protection

The following information provides a brief overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data refers to any information that can be used to identify you personally. For detailed information on data protection, please refer to our privacy policy, which is provided below.

Data collection on our website

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the legal notice section of this website.

How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected, on the one hand, when you provide it to us. This may include, for example, data that you enter into a contact form. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This consists primarily of technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure the website functions correctly. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.

What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to obtain information, free of charge, about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this and any further questions regarding data protection, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

General information and mandatory details

The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. When you use this website, various types of personal data are collected. Personal data is data that can be used to identify you personally. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done. We would like to point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to guarantee complete protection of data against access by third parties.

Information regarding the data controller

The data controller for this website is:

bemorrow GmbH – Strategy consultancy for the digital age
Magmannstr. 5a
82166 Gräfelfing
T +49 89 893 274 50

The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).

Withdrawal of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You may withdraw any consent you have already given at any time. To do so, simply send us an informal email. The lawfulness of any data processing carried out prior to the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

Right to data portability

You have the right to receive data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract, either for yourself or for a third party, in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place where technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential information, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the website operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar. When SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Access, blocking, deletion

In accordance with the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain, free of charge, information about your stored personal data, its source and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, and, where applicable, the right to have this data corrected, restricted or erased. You may contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice regarding this matter or any other questions relating to personal data.

Objection to marketing emails

We hereby object to the use of contact details published in accordance with the legal requirement to provide an imprint for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information materials. The operators of this website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising being sent, for example via spam emails.

Google Analytics

We use the Google Analytics tracking tool on our website, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, Tel: +353 1 543 1000, Fax: +353 1 686 5660, Email: support-deutschland@google.com („Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called „cookies“, text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to systematically evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website and internet usage to the website operator. When individual pages of our website are accessed, the following data is stored:

  • Three bytes of the IP address of the user’s accessing system (anonymised IP address)
  • The webpage accessed
  • The website from which the user accessed the page on our website (referrer URL)
  • The subpages accessed from the page visited
  • The duration of the visit to the website
  • The frequency of visits to the website

We use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled. This truncates IP addresses by the last octet (e.g. 192.168.79.***; so-called IP masking). It is no longer possible to link the truncated IP address to the user’s computer or device. The Google Analytics service is used to analyse usage behaviour on our website. The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. We will delete the stored data as soon as it is no longer required for our record-keeping purposes. In our case, the maximum storage period is 24 months. Further information on the terms of use of Google Analytics: www.google.com/analytics/terms. Server log files

The website’s hosting provider, HostEurope, automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address (anonymised)

This data is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, the details you provide in the enquiry form – including the contact details you have entered there – will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case we have any follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent. The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time. To do so, simply send us an informal email. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out prior to the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal. The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request its deletion, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. once your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Mailchimp

This website uses Mailchimp to send out newsletters. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

Mailchimp is a service that can be used, amongst other things, to organise the sending of newsletters. If you enter data for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. email address), this data is stored on Mailchimp’s servers in the USA. We have deactivated performance tracking in Mailchimp, so Mailchimp will not analyse your behaviour when you open our newsletters.

If you do not wish your data to be transferred to Mailchimp, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a link for this purpose in every newsletter message.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The lawfulness of data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

The data you have provided to us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list once you have unsubscribed. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.

Data transfers to the USA are based on the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Details can be found here and here.

After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored on our end or by the newsletter service provider in a blacklist, if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is used solely for this purpose and is not merged with other data. This serves both your interests and our interest in complying with legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). There is no time limit on storage in the blacklist. You may object to this storage provided that your interests override our legitimate interest.
