Sustainable marketing organisation

The challenge


In order to meet the new and constantly increasing demands of the market and customers, a new structure is needed for the marketing of our client in the insurance sector. The aim is to prepare for the future and achieve greater added value for customers and create synergies through agility and efficiency.

We asked ourselves the following questions:

What is the purpose and value proposition of marketing?
What organisational, professional and technological challenges do we need to consider?
How do we make our work measurable and therefore controllable?
What ways of thinking and working do we need? How can we change our culture?

We collaboratively developed the strategic setup and provided organisational, methodological and technical support for the introduction of the new structure, implemented new marketing skills to empower employees and coordinated the associated change management.

Procedure


The professional, procedural and cultural transformation of marketing is designed as a collaborative process from the outset. To ensure the commitment of everyone involved, we work together to develop a new understanding of the role of marketing and define the transformation projects to be developed.

We manage the implementation of the projects in agile teams in various content streams. The teams work in weekly or fortnightly sprints and are supported by us in terms of facilitation and expertise. Topics such as innovation, the editorial process and database marketing are dealt with.

We design an agile network organisation including roles, working methods and collaboration models that meet the specific requirements of the customer and the challenges of the industry. We support the structural introduction itself with various change management tools.

In order to meet the requirements for flexibility, integration, efficiency and cost-effectiveness, new ways of thinking and working are needed in addition to an adapted organisational structure. We are developing a modern culture and a new mindset in a participatory manner. These are also expressed in the self-image of the marketing department in the overall context of the company. We develop and implement measures and event formats to make the cultural change tangible and to sensitise, involve, activate and empower employees.
